I am delighted to announce I will be the judge of the teen short story section at the 2016 Melton City Council Short Story Competition. This is an exciting opportunity that I will relish. I can not wait to read thought provoking, raw and powerful pieces by the youth of Melton.

My short story ‘Still Dead’ has been accepted for publication in Offset 16. I am very happy to have my dark horror story find a home in such a quality publication. The launch is in October and I can’t wait for you all to read it.
Hello for the first time in 2016! I have been writing, editing, workshopping and all sorts of other creative goodness. The last couple of weeks have been full on with deadlines and applications. Fingers crossed!
My novel progress is going well and I have been working on a short story or two along the way. I have also had a good conversation or two with writer friends which always keeps the energy flowing.
Here’s to a busy year of writing!
I have just spent two weeks in Queenstown, New Zealand for a much needed break. I can safely say it is heaven and has done me a world of good. I got some solid writing done and there is a renewed spark to get my work out there. Let’s see where things go from here.

I had the great pleasure of reading my piece ‘Aneurysm by Nirvana’ at the latest Stereo Stories event. The audience were involved, the writer’s were brilliant and the band were catchy.

I will be reading a piece of mine at Stereo Stories in partnership with Rotunda in the West on July 30th at VU Bar. There will be plenty of great writers reading pieces about music and its impact on their lives.
